Hundreds take it all in at La Follette’s Easter Egg Hunt

Alex Harques, Violet Wilson and Braxton Miracle were three of the six golden egg winners

Braxton Miracle came away as a golden egg winner.

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Youngsters hustled gathering eggs under Thursday afternoon’s sunshine at Liberty Park. “We put out a thousand eggs,” said Johnny Byrge, Parks and Recreation Director for the City of La Follette. See all of Micaela and Charlie Hutson’s photos HERE.

Look at what Violet Wilson came away with as a golden egg winner.

There were three hunting spots; inside the baseball field, outside the baseball field and the large grassy area below the former west end school where Beech and 9th Streets meet.

Alex Harques was a golden egg winner.

Byrge estimated around 400 folks attended the annual event.

The older youngsters took to the bank.
