Jerry M. Comer, age 70, of LaFollette went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 11, 2024. He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and a member of the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Asbestos Workers Local #46. Preceded in death by Wife: Karen Evans Comer, Parents: Ben and Dorothy Ivey Comer, Sisters: Elizabeth Wilson, Sarah Cass, Katherine Kitts, Brothers: Ben Comer and Kenneth Comer.

Survived by:

Daughter: Saddie Carroll

Sons: Bradley T Comer and Josh S. Parks

Grandsons: Joshua S. Parks III and Bradley E. Comer

Brothers: J. W., Charles, Hubert, Kermit and Bill Comer

Sister: Effie Hooks

Special Niece: Teresa Mefford

Several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends 12-2 PM, Sunday, January 14th at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service to follow in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. J. R. Kitts and Rev. Lynn Ray officiating. Interment to follow funeral service at Welch Cemetery in Speedwell.
