Arnold Ray Gaylor, age 87, of Jacksboro passed away Thursday, September 21, 2023. He was a charter member of and helped build East Jacksboro Baptist Church, where all work was done by hand. He was also a member of Jacksboro Masonic Lodge F&AM. He served in the US Army and retired as plant manager from OshKosh B’Gosh in Gainsboro, TN.

Preceded in death by Parents: Rev. Everett and Lucy Hatmaker Gaylor, Brother: Floyd Gaylor, Father and Mother-in-Law: Leonard and Thelma Hembree Queener, Brother-in-Law: Alva Queener.

Wife: Joyce Helen Queener Gaylor

Sister: Joann Snodderly

Nephew: Steven Queener

Nieces: Lynette Marlow, Pam Moser, Terri Russell, Lisa Overbay and Susan Wilson

Family will receive friends 5-6:45 PM, Monday, September 25th at East Jacksboro Baptist Church with Masonic Service at 6:45 PM and funeral service to follow at 7:00 PM, Rev. Jimmy Ault officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10 AM on Tuesday, September 26, at Cross-Smith Funeral Home and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11 AM Interment with Military Honors given by the Honor Guard of Campbell County.
