Dennis Powers and his wife Tracy saw the first college football game of the season. “Let me emphasize that no tax dollars were used to fund my trip,” said a laughing Powers.

DUBLIN, IRELAND (SPECIAL TO WLAF) – State Representative Dennis Powers, a Tennessee alum, is a big fan of the Vols and college football in general. So much in fact that he took in the first game of the college football season on Saturday. The catch is that he had to travel all the way to Dublin to take in the game, Notre Dame and Navy.
