Jason DeWayne Cowans, age 42 of LaFollette, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2023. He was born on November 20, 1980. Jason loved to fish, collect hats, play video games, go to Dollywood, and the beach, drink Mountain Dew, and watch the fireworks on the 4th of July.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rosie Lovett, Earl Cowans, and Ruby White.

Jason is survived by his parents Paul and Barbara Cowans; Grandmother Barbara Joe Cowans; nephew Logan Osborne; nieces Kaitlyn, Bethany, and Kylee Osborne, and Annabell Cowans; brothers Paul Cowans and wife Tiffany; sister Vanessa Turner and husband Dan; and host of other relatives and friends.

Service details will be announced at a later date.
