LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Since late April, the price for a gallon of regular unleaded gasoline in Campbell County was under three dollars until prices started climbing in late July.

From $2.79 a gallon, there was a 20-cent jump overnight on July 21 to $2.99. Then there was another 10-cent increase a week later. Monday night saw prices go up from $3.09 to $3.17, the highest price of the year so far.

  1. Just returned from Seattle, WA, and gas prices started at $5.09/gallon. Unfortunately, it looks like the only direction prices have to go is up. It’s a very sad era the citizens of this Country are being forced to live in.
