  1. Jerry also became the golf coach in ’70 & ’71, not because he was a golfer, but we needed someone to drive us to the matches. He and Bob White took on that chore. Jerry raised money to buy us orange pants, white shirts and white golf shoes. We were not the best team in the region, but we were the best-dressed! I had him in math all 4 years of high school. He was a great Christian man and influence on all the young people. I already miss him and look forward to seeing him again one day. Prayers to Charlotte and the girls – I know how much they loved him too! We all did!
