LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Ideal Florals Weddings & Events is WLAF’s business of the week. They have a beautiful variety of boutonnieres, corsages and bouquets ready for prom.

Ideal Florals is a full service local florist shop locally owned and operated at 231 E. Central Avenu in LaFollette. 

They can design beautiful wedding flowers and bridal bouquets, or just help you out with flowers and gift ideas for any and and all occasions. 

They also offer daily flower delivery to LaFollette Medical Center and funeral homes and can design memorial and funeral floral arrangements as well as sympathy arrangements.

Ideal Florals has a large variety of unique gift ideas for any occasion. They also feature cards with original photography by Bryan McPherson.

Formerly Ideal Florist, the shop has been in business over 40 years and is now under new ownership by Lynn McGhee and his sister LeaAnn Hall. They completely remodeled the store and reopened for business on Feb. 1.

From weddings, table settings for parties or lovely funeral arrangements Ideal Florals Weddings & Events can do it all.

After purchasing the business from Sandra Branam, the pair decided to keep the “Ideal” part of the business name to “honor Branam because she had been in business so long.”

According to McGhee, purchasing the florist shop was basically their “retirement plan” as he is retired and his sister is about to retire after 20 years as a school nurse.

The pair said they had been enjoying the floral business so far, “especially the customers.” 

Ideal Florals Weddings & Events can do it all.

“It’s all about them; we want to make the customers happy and help them make their occasion special any way we can,” Hall said.

Their website offers “secure 24-hour ordering right at your fingertips.” If you prefer to call, you can also place your orders direct. “The staff is happy to help with creative gift ideas and floral designs as well.”
