LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Two people were injured in a wreck involving a pick up truck and a car on Christmas morning just after 9:30. The mishap occurred on the General Carl W. Stiner Highway (State Route 63) east of La Follette.

This truck was involved in a wreck that was called in to Central Dispatch at 9:38am Sunday.

Of the two patients, one was pinned in the wreckage and had to be extricated from the car, according to a First Responder. The wreck was in the construction zone where Calhoun Road intersects with Stiner Highway east of the Frontier Store.

Aside from the CCRFS, the Campbell County EMS and Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 12/26/2022-6AM)
