Apartment 244 at this McGhee Blvd complex is where Sheriff’s agents conducted a raid late Sunday night.

CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF) – “If you are breaking the law in our county, you should be ready anytime, day or night, to face justice,” said Campbell County Sheriff Robbie K. Goins.  Late Sunday night at a Caryville apartment complex, Goins and investigators raided apartment 244 after a months long undercover investigation.

Over the past several months, CCSO undercover agents made multiple purchases of heroin and methamphetamine.  The complex is located at 281 McGhee Blvd. across from the Red Roof Inn. “Protecting the citizens of Campbell County is my number one goal,” the sheriff added.

The main target of the investigation was 23-year old Christopher Alan Brown of La Follette. He was not arrested. However, his case will likely be presented to the Campbell County Grand Jury next month. Brown is facing charges of multiple counts of sell/delivery of a schedule I controlled substance, the sell/delivery of a schedule II controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to jail records, Brown has only been arrested two times in Campbell County; February and May of 2021. Both arrests were drug related. The February charge was a capias bench warrant for the manufacture, sell and delivery of drugs. Possession of a schedule II drug and drug paraphernalia along with a hold for Anderson County were Brown’s charges in May. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 11/24/2021-6AM)
