JELLICO, TN (WLAF) – Here at 11 am on Saturday, there is still one-hundred loads of food yet to be claimed. From milk to meat to bread to bagels and everything in-between, there is still a lot of food yet to be given away.

There is a free food give-a-way Saturday at 10 am at Jellico High School. The City of Jellico and Compassion Ministries are providing a mobile food pantry on the campus of Jellico High.

This is a drive-thru mobile pantry, and you must have your car trunk empty so volunteers are able to place the food in your car for you. However, you must stay in your car until you are asked to get out to open the trunk.

You must have your information ready in order to keep the line moving quickly and smoothly. The information you will need to present to the volunteer is:

Name

Address

Phone number

Number of people in your household in the age groups of 18 to 59 and 60+ as well as the number who are age 17 or younger

For more information, please call Robin Rolland at 865.755.9512. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 04/14/2021-6AM)
