LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – A Campbell County woman was injured this morning when her car veered off Bethlehem Road and struck a fence row and tree.

First responders were paged out at 9:32 am Wednesday as the Campbell County Rural Fire Service, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, the Campbell County EMS and the Tennessee Highway Patrol responded.

The road was temporarily shutdown while members of the CCRFS popped the door on the blue Honda Accord that bore a drive out tag. The air bag deployed after the car, headed north toward Old Middlesboro Highway, took out a fence row after it crossed the center line before hitting a tree.

A fence row was taken out by a car heading up Bethlehem Road on Wednesday morning.

The patient was transported by ground ambulance to the La Follette Medical Center. A medical helicopter was not able to fly because of the low ceiling. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 03/17/2021-10:30AM-PHOTOS COURTESY OF WLAF’S CHARLOTTE UNDERWOOD)
