JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The chamber is devoted to supporting local businesses and promoting economic growth in the community, and the organization has lots of exciting things going on this spring including a Home and Garden Show.

According to Chamber Director Missy Tackett, this will be the first event of this type that the chamber has hosted, and they are “super excited about it.”

The Home and Garden Show is slated for Sat., April 20, and will be held at Food City Center at Woodson’s Mall. The chamber is seeking home vendors to participate in the show.

According to Tackett, the Home and Garden Show is a great networking event for all local businesses in the home industry such as contractors, carpet and flooring, windows and siding, realtors, finance, home décor, landscaping, interior design, specialty home services and more! Food vendors are needed for the event as well.

Registration is required for this event and the registration deadline is Mon., April 15. There is a $30 vendor fee for non-chamber members.

The chamber also launched an updated website a few months ago that has a special section on it for small business owners, according to Tackett, who said “promoting small businesses in the county is an especially important goal” of the chambers.

“Our small businesses keep the county going, and we want to help them any way we can,” Tackett said.

The Campbell County Chamber of Commerce and Tourism is a “member driven organization that aims to promote and protect the interests of local businesses in Campbell County.”

The chamber provides a range of services to its members including networking opportunities, advocacy, and support for businesses in the community.

“Our mission is to promote and foster business and tourism in Campbell County and to enhance the quality of life in our community. Our vision is to strengthen the local economy and serve as the voice of business in the community and to help create the best community in which to live, work and do business,” Tackett said.

One of the chamber’s main purposes is to “create a strong business community by bringing together business owners and professionals.”

By facilitating networking events such as the Chamber’s Coffee Connection and other opportunities for members to connect, the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce “helps businesses build relationships with each other and create partnerships that can lead to increased sales and growth opportunities.”

Tackett said she hopes to build on these connections with additional networking events such as the upcoming Home and Garden Show in April.

The Chamber of Commerce is located at 1016 Main Street in Jacksboro. For more information or to register for the Home and Garden Show, call 423.566.0329 or visit their website or you can also check them out on Facebook.
