The evening featured distinguished speakers Phillip Fulmer, former head football coach and athletic director of the University of Tennessee Volunteers, and Judge Tim Irwin, Juvenile Court Judge of Knox County, former Tennessee Volunteer standout, and 14-year NFL veteran.

A short, live auction of autographed sports memorabilia was quite the hit.

“This event was crucial in our ability to reach our fundraising goal so that we can have a club open at the beginning of school next year,” said Bill Jones, General Sessions Judge and Chairman of the Boys & Girls Club of Campbell County Advisory Board. The Tennessee Tailgate celebrated the rich tradition of Tennessee football while raising essential funds to support the Boys & Girls Club’s mission which is “To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.”
“This event was not just a celebration of Tennessee football—it was a commitment to the future of our youth,” said Jones.

All proceeds from Monday’s event go directly toward the opening of the Boys & Girls Club in La Follette at the Dewey Hunter Center 711 South 4th Street.
