There is a FLOOD WARNING for Campbell County through 1:45am Sunday


LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Flooding results from Saturday’s rain, heavy at times, as high winds create problems for trees, power lines and high profile vehicles.
There is a FLOOD WATCH running through Sunday morning. Additionally, there is a WIND ADVISORY from midnight Saturday through noon Sunday.
Showers have spread into Campbell County and the area Saturday morning with highest rain amounts through the day mainly in the northern half of Campbell County near the Kentucky border.
A dynamic weather system will impact Campbell County and the region Saturday night. High winds and heavy rainfall are the main threats. A low-end threat for severe storms exists later Saturday night into early Sunday morning mostly south of Campbell County.
A much colder air mass arrives Sunday with light snow showers across the higher elevations. Snowfall amounts look to be light. Sunday’s high of 53 arrives long before daybreak, and temperatures will fall into the 30s through the day on Sunday.
