La Follette took a downed tree hit during Monday’s storm

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for La Follette and Campbell County at 3pm on Monday, and the warning was certainly warranted. Heavy rainfall and damaging wind took trees down around the city and county. “We had trees down near the hospital on North Avenue, and over on North 23rd and South 13th Streets,” said Casey Boshears, Director of Public Works.
