LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- LaFollette Middle School students win first and second prize in the annual Lions Club Peace Poster contest.

LaFollette Middle School student Bronte Mills won first place in the Lions Club Peace Poster with this entry.

Monday night, Lion Carol McDonald with the Campbell County Lions Club awarded Peace poster winners at the club’s meeting.

The International Peace Poster Contest allows young people ages 11-13 to share their creativity in expressing what peace means through art.

LaFollette Middle School student Cambre Shanor’s entry won second place in the Lions Club Peace Poster contest. She received $250.

This year’s theme is Harmony in Humanity. First Place went to Bronte Mills. She was awarded $150.00 from the Campbell County Lions Club. Carol McDonald also awarded Bronte with a check from District 12-N for $200.00 for taking 1st place at the District 12-N Convention held March 27-29, at Farragut.

Cambre Shanors earned second place with her peace poster and won $100 for her efforts!
