JACKSBORO, TN. (WLAF)- Last week in criminal court, Kevin Wilson was sentenced to serve nine years in the custody of the Tennessee Department of Correction.  

A Campbell County jury previously found Wilson guilty of possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and registration law violation following a two-day jury trial.  

This case was investigated by Assistant Chief of Police Raymond Surber of the Caryville Police Department and Deputy Grant Cole of the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department.

This case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Generals Danielle Montooth and Philip A. Kazee.

Wilson acted as his own attorney, according to court records.
