The countdown to placing an order for your favorite McDonald’s treat began Tuesday in LaFollette

LA FOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Major progress was made Tuesday in the construction of LaFollette’s McDonalds. The crew from Cozy Excavation & Contracting LLC of Clinton brought the bulldozers and claw machines as they tore down the former bank building. The crew was underway by 8am, and they didn’t slow down. By lunch time, they were half way through the building and hauling off loads of material.

Watch the demolition HERE.

The demolition started at the back of the former bank building, where they took down the drive-through. Next came the front porch roof, followed by pushing the main roof inward from the front and sides. Then the walls came down. The entire crew stayed busy, constantly moving between a trench digger for installing the silt fence, a skid steer, two excavators, and two dump trucks.
