Sometimes our weather can be a little puzzling unless you understand it

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- You can only wonder what goes through his mind, as my grandson Russell stood, looking out the door Monday morning. He was keeping his Mamaw up-to-date on the S N O W!!! 

Only 24 hours before, he was outside playing in shorts sleeves and shorts. Monday’s temps were in the 30s as he watched the snow blow across his back yard play ground.

He kept a close eye on the snow all day long as his play ground began to turn white.

Never fear Russell, it’s East Tennessee. Give it a day or two, and you’ll be back outside playing with your Tonka trucks and bouncing on the trampoline. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/17/2026-6AM)
