Mr. Ward Allen Funk
Age 90 of Jellico, Tennessee passed away Thursday, January 23, 2025, at Beech Tree Manor. He was born April 29, 1934, in Independence, Missouri.
He graduated from William Chrisman High School in 1952, in Independance, Missouri. Ward was an avid musician and singer for many years. Eldorado Spring, Missouri High School Boys Glee Club 1950-1951. First Christian Church Choir, Eldorado Springs, Missouri 1950-1951. William Chrisman High Acapella Choir 1951-1952. 1st Presbyterian Church Choir Independence, Missouri 1951-1956. Messiah Choir Independence, Missouri 1955-1956. Kansas City Philharmonic Chorus Kansas City, Missouri 1956. U.S. Army Men’s Chorus, Armed Forces Day 1957. Clifford Bryant and New Revivals 1973-1980 as Bass singer and Rhythm and Bass Guitars. New Jerusalem Singers 1985-1988 as Lead and Tenor Singer and Rhythm Guitar. He was a faithful and active member teacher at Jellico Church of God since 1983.

Several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A host of friends & family to mourn his passing.
The family will receive friends: 6 – 8 p.m. Sunday, January 26, 2025, at the Harp Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services at 8 p.m.
