Vicki Lynn Phillips Swopshire passed away on February 7, 2025, at the age of 67. Born on June 4, 1957, she was known for her loving, funny and eclectic personality. She graduated from Jacksboro High School in 1976 and furthered her education at Tennessee Technology Center.
Vicki dedicated her life to caring for others as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and mother. Her passion for helping others was matched by her love for painting, a hobby that allowed her to express her creative and eclectic spirit.
She is survived by her son Bobby Swopshire Jr., daughters Amy Swopshire and fiancé Jeff and Lora Vitiello and husband Alex, grandchildren Haydan, Elliott, Brantley and Nolan. Vicki also leaves behind her fiancé and best friend Ernest Trammell, her siblings Wanda Phillips, Patricia Phillips, Lisa Phillips, Alan Phillips and Christopher Phillips and special family Stephanie Knauer and host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceeded in death by her husband Bob Swopshire and her parents Audie and Loretta (Wilson) Phillips, sister Debbie Bolton and lifelong friend Pamela Keathley.
A memorial to celebrate Vicki’s life is planned for the spring. Her loving presence and strong spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
