New subdivision coming to near Downtown LaFollette

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The City of LaFollette held the monthly planning commission meeting Thursday afternoon at City Hall. It was a short and sweet one with only two items on the agenda.

First was a preliminary subdivision for property located at 504, 508, and 520 East Central Avenue. Matthew Grodeman, one of the applicants, was present and presented the drawing to the commission. Foust, who had consulted with Codes officer Stuart Hurwitz, recommended approval for the preliminary drawing. The motion passed.

Last was a variance request for an accessory building located at 1201 West Ash Street. Setbacks are supposed to be 5 feet and this building has 2.5 feet.
