Town of Jacksboro hosts public meeting at 6pm to discuss ISO rating

The 6pm meeting is to be followed by the regular monthly meeting at 7pm

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Town of Jacksboro hosts a public meeting today at 6pm at its municipal building.

The topic is the ISO rating. The Town of Jacksboro is working on getting a better Insurance Services Office (ISO) fire rating for the town as discussed at its April regular meeting.

An ISO score, also known as a Public Protection Classification (PPC) score, is a rating given to municipal fire departments that evaluates their ability to offer adequate fire protection to the communities they serve.
