Another local business and church are stepping up to help flood victims

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Donations are being accepted this afternoon from 3pm until 6pm at the building beside Tim Short Ford. The building recently housed Gifts From Above.

“We’re accepting non-perishable food items. The most needed item is bottled water,” said Deborah Proctor.

“I really want to thank Jimmy Brafford and the folks at Tim Short Ford,” said Proctor. Tim Short Ford has donated a large amount of supplies and is providing vehicles to transport donations to the flood victims, according to Proctor.

Pastor Roger Hilliard and members of the Heritage Baptist Church invite you to join them Sunday at 4pm for a special service called “Hymns of Hope”. This will be a special time of singing, worship, and prayer.  “The church is receiving donations for the flood victims of East Tennessee and Western North Carolina, and donations will be taken to churches in the affected areas for distribution,” said Hilliard.
