Hutch is headed to Campbellsville to play college ball

Campbell Senior basketball standout Saylor Hutcheson to sign college scholarship papers today

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Not every high school senior basketball player is able to decide, sign and get on with their last season of basketball. However, Campbell High’s Saylor Hutcheson is able to do just that. The southpaw slasher and shooter is set to sign college scholarship papers with Campbellsville University today at 10am at John Brown Gym.

Campbellsville, a perennial NAIA power and regular at the national tournament, is located in central Kentucky, about a two hour ride from Jacksboro. The Lady Tigers wear maroon and gray and play in the Mid-South Conference which includes other schools such as Georgetown and Cumberlands.

Hutcheson and the Lady Cougars and Cougars christen the new basketball season at home on Tuesday, November 19. William Blount is the first game opponent. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED – 10/04/2024-6AM)
