LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- On Saturday, April 12, at 9am, Postmark LaFollette will commence its third Spring Fling, starting with the opportunity to participate in a pancake breakfast fundraiser.

For a donation of $5, attendees will receive a pancake, sausage, or bacon, along with a beverage. The Mayor of LaFollette Scotty Kitts, will be present to greet the public and serve pancakes.
The festival will officially open on the main stage at 10am. Throughout the day, a diverse array of events will be scheduled, including food trucks, vendors, the Postmark LaFollette Arts and Crafts Center, demonstrations by various craftsmen, a skit from our newest theater production written by Tony Branam, tours of the post office conducted by Sadie Bright, who portrays the inaugural postmistress, “Irene Miller,” and a performance by our local musical hero, Greg Marlow, as headliner.
The lineup will also feature New River Rising, Daniel Chumley, Smiley and the Lovedawg, Katie Collins, and a special guest performance by The Birdsongs and Aaron Miller of Epic Entertainment.
This year, we will be showcasing a youth performance. We will feature students from our Postmark LaFollette Music Lessons, along with other youth and community members.

Our music team will consist of Tony Branam, Joseph Hensley, Samantha Hensley, Keith Ellison, and Robin Farmer Hensley. Mayor Kitts will join the music team and present each youth participant with a trophy, which will be donated by All American Trophies.
Following the youth showcase, our music team and a select group of others will pay tribute to some of our Campbell County Musicians who have made significant contributions to our community. Among those to be honored will be Ronnie Henderson, Harold Branam, Robie Farmer, Mary Woods, Kenny Graham, and others.
Individuals interested in participating in our youth showcase or tribute are kindly requested to contact us on Facebook at Postmark LaFollette Music Lessons or by calling 423-201-2465.
We will also host an open Acoustic Jam throughout the festival, where all are welcome to participate in playing, singing, or simply enjoying the music. Several of our performers and special guests will be present throughout the day.
We are still seeking vendors and volunteers for our festival.
We are pleased to partner with The City of LaFollette, LaFollette Housing Authority, Papa Chum’s Music and Rarities, and WLAF for this year’s event.
