Lady Eagles 44 Robertsville 28

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Jacksboro hosted Robertsville at Agee Gymnasium for the Area Championship game on Wednesday.

The first quarter was what you would expect a Jacksboro-Robertsville game to look like; a scrappy, physical battle. Both teams were even at 5 at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Lady Eagles began to gain control over the Lady Rams. Jacksboro had more possessions, and shots started falling for the Blue-and-Gold. Kylie Perkins hit a huge three, and Addy Coleman successfully connected on an and-one. At the end of the first half, Jacksboro held an 18-13 lead over Robertsville.

The 2025 Jacksboro Lady Eagles rolled past Norris and Robertsville for the area title.

It was all Jacksboro after halftime. When the crowd at Agee Gymnasium rose to its feet, and provided the ladies in Blue-and-Gold a thunderous applause, the Lady Eagles claimed a 44-28 victory, earning the TMSAA Section 1 Area 2 Championship, as well as a season sweep of Robertsville. 

Three Lady Eagles received all tournament recognition: Kaylee Albright, Addy Coleman, and Alexa York, with York being named the tournament MVP.

Tops in scoring for the Blue-and-Gold were Addy Coleman with 13 points. Kaylee Albright, Julie Lawson, and Alexa York all contributed eight points toward the winning effort. Kylie Perkins scored six points, and Khloe Johnson rounded out the scoring column with one point.
