LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)-  Since late November, The Harbor Church has been facing building codes issues at its thrift store.

The store is located next door to the church. The codes issues were fire hazard related issues. CLICK HERE and HERE for additional information.

The main water valve for the sprinkler system was being repaired yesterday.

As of Tuesday afternoon, there appears to be a step forward in rectifying the issues. Yesterday, Chattanooga Fire Protection Inc. was present at The Harbor building replacing a broken water valve on the building. City Codes Officer Stuart Hurwitz said it was a “first step in fixing the problems”.

Officials with Chattanooga Fire Protection worked Tuesday at the The Harbor building, across from Woodson’s Mall on the four lane in LaFollette.
