Thursday morning’s rain forced the ribbon cutting indoors at City Hall

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A little rain did not keep Shirley Rogers from cutting the pink ribbon on Thursday morning inside City Hall.

In keeping with tradition, City of La Follette Administrator Stan Foust presented Shirley Rogers with roses.

La Follette City Administrator Stan Foust added thanks to Miss Shirley for all she does for the City and community. “She actually started all this – the Dogwood Trails,” said Foust.

Classy Threads and Catering treated attendees to a delicious brunch following the 10am ribbon cutting.

Brunch was served by Classy Threads and Catering.
