Look for the blue jerseys and orange helmets in Downtown La Follette from 9am to 1pm

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF) – The two-week TSSAA Dead Period is underway, and while the players and coaches are resting, the CC Quarterback Club is out in full force.

The Campbell County football booster club is having a roadblock event on Saturday, June 28th from 9AM-1PM.

With the striking Cougar blue jerseys, bright orange helmets, and familiar location; it will be hard to miss this roadblock. It is taking place at traffic light number 7 at the intersection of Central and South Tennessee Avenue right in the heart of downtown LaFollette.

The Quarterback club asks for your donations, as all of the proceeds go to support the CCHS Cougar Football team.

Campbell County opens up the season less than two months from now, as the Orange-and-Blue travel to Lenoir City on August 22nd. First year head coach Taylor Ownbey leads his Cougars as they battle the Panthers at 7pm. Les Martin and Brent Allen send you all the action over the WLAF Doyle’s Tire Sports Network.
