LAFOLLETTE, TN. (WLAF)- On Friday, The Blue Hippo Car Wash cut a ribbon signifying it had joined the Campbell County Chamber of Commerce.

The Saffell Family, owners of The Blue Hippo thanked the community for its support. From the helpfulness of area businesses as they remodeled the old movie theater to finding a great staff to the community using the wash, they said the support had been strong.

The staff at The Blue Hippo Car invites everyone to come by and see the area’s largest tunnel, which is 145 feet long.

Using a belt technology, cars do not have to center on a rail to go through the wash. This means low profile tires and duallys can go through The Blue Hippo Car Wash.

It also features wide turns for easy in and out of the wash.
