LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – The fun of Casey Kasem’s American Top 40 The 80s trips back to January 15, 1983, Sunday at 8 pm over WLAF radio.

Songs you’ll hear on Sunday night’s survey include Hungry Heart by Bruce Springsteen along with a song that was released just a few weeks before the death of John Lennon. It’s called Starting Over. Love On The Rocks, from the motion picture The Jazz Singer, was Neil Diamond’s latest hit, and Steely Dan’s Hey Nineteen was climbing the chart. In addition to these songs, you’ll hear the nation’s other top 36 songs over WLAF just like they all played here on the old radio station in 1981.
