JACKSBORO, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- Telehealth appointments are now available at the Campbell County Health Department and other local health departments in Tennessee. Appointments are quick and convenient. These appointments can often be same day and you can see your provider from the comfort of your own home.
Telehealth visits will be with a nurse practitioner or physician. You will meet with your provider over a website and receive a link that allows you to register for your appointment through a video call.
Tips for a Successful Telehealth Appointment
• Use a smartphone or a computer with a camera.
• Test equipment before telehealth visit.
• Pick a location with reliable Wi-Fi, privacy and good lighting.
• Don’t drive during a telehealth visit.
• Sign on early.
• Make a list. Before the visit, write down things you want to ask your provider.
