Tate is the “Pet of the Week”

Through Fri., Jan. 30, there’s a $26 adoption fee on adult dogs and cats with approved application

JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- Meet Tate. He is six plus years old. Tate is the ideal 25 pound companion pup with an old-soul heart and the sweetest little gray muzzle that tells stories of a life well lived. With his adorable dachshund charm and gentle, kid-friendly nature, Tate is the kind of dog who fits right into your days, like he’s been waiting just for you.

He’s not looking for chaos or constant adventure. If you’ve ever missed the comfort of a loyal dog at your side, Tate might be the one bringing that feeling back.

Through Friday, January 30, the animal shelter is offering a $26 adoption special on all adult dogs and cats. The adoption fee includes spay/neuter surgery, flea and tick treatment, deworming, preliminary vet exam, and species/age-appropriate vaccinations.

The adoption center, animal shelter, is open Tuesday – Saturday, noon to 5:30pm, at 749 Towe String Road, Jacksboro, next to the convenience center. The shelter’s telephone number is 423-566-8018.
