Suspected DUI driver charged with leaving scene of accident

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper made an arrest on Tuesday of an alleged driver driving under the influence, according to the intake press release from the Campbell County Detention Facility.

At Mile Marker 133, southbound, on I-75 is where the traffic stop occurred. Marc Dillon Wright of Powell was stopped just before 7pm.

Wright was charged with DUI, leaving the scene of an accident, violation of the lane law, open container law and driving with license suspended-cancelled-revoked. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-07/09/2026-6AM)
