CARYVILLE, TN (WLAF)- The road on Caryville Mountain at the Round Rock Baptist Church, Stoney Fork Road, is closed indefinitely, according to Campbell County Road Superintendent Ron Dilbeck.

Crews with the highway department are on their way to work on that area of Stoney Fork Road at this hour. A 10-foot culvert collapsed on Saturday morning creating the closure, according to Dilbeck.

The box culvert that will replace the collapsed culvert will look similar to this bridge over Coontail Branch at Elk Valley that opened in Jan. 2023.

The culvert will be replaced with a box culvert, a small bridge of sorts. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-05/23/2026-11AM)
