Stephen Adkins, age 55, of Huntsville, passed away Monday, October 7, 2024. He was a member of White Rock Baptist Church where he was saved at the age of eight. He carried and read his bible often and loved the Lord. Some of his favorite verses was Psalms 23 and Psalms 91. Steve will always be remembered as a caring son and loving father. Daddy I will always be your little girl and you will always be my hero. Steve was an employee of Apollo Mechanical of Oak Ridge.

Preceded in death by father: Chester W. Adkins, grandparents: William and Mammie Alred Lay, Rev. Columbus and Eva Woods Adkins.

Mother: Judy Lay Adkins

A host of other relatives and friends that loved him dearly.

The family will receive friends 12 to 2 PM Sunday, October 13, 2024 at Cross-Smith Funeral Home with funeral service at 2 PM in Cross-Smith Chapel, Rev. Jim West and Rev. William Pace officiating. Interment to follow service at Fairview Memorial Gardens in Huntsville.
