LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF) – Today and tonight, locally heavy rain is possible today mainly along the Appalachians here in Campbell County and the region, so localized flash flooding is possible. Showers are likely as temps don’t move much holding steady in the 50s maybe touching 60 for a brief time this afternoon.
For Wednesday through Monday, there will be scattered snow showers from Thursday evening through Friday night, especially over the higher terrain of Campbell County. Snow showers could continue into Saturday morning in mountain elevations. The best chances for light snow accumulation will be over the higher elevations of Campbell County, the Plateau, the East Tennessee mountains, and southwest Virginia ridges.
