Out on Murrayville Road, a car slammed into a tree

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A wet road likely factored into a late Sunday afternoon wreck in south Campbell County.

At 4:19pm, the call of a car hitting a tree came in to Central Dispatch. It was said the car was not able to make a curve and ended up hitting a tree.

One person was transported by Campbell EMS to the La Follette Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, according to one official. The passengers were shaken up and walked away from the mishap. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-04/06/2025-5PM)
