Section of West Beech Street remains closed this morning

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- Around 30 trees fell over roads across La Follette on Friday and Saturday, and one of those large trees landed on power lines and West Beech Street. In the section between the La Follette Public Library and South 11th Street is where the tree fell.

Crews with the La Follette Public Works Department cleared the tree. However, the road remains closed between South 11th and 9th Streets.

This section of downed power lines is across from the Co-op.
