Will affect all Jellico Utilities customers for less than an hour

LAFOLLETTE, TN (SPECIAL TO WLAF)- To safely address a hazard tree currently caught on TVA’s 161kv transmission line, TVA must de-energize circuits and initiate a brief power outage.

This brief power outage affects all customers of Jellico Utilities this Saturday, March 29, 2025, starting at 7 am.

The outage is scheduled in coordination with TVA and Jellico Utilities to minimize community impact. The outage is expected to last 30-45 minutes. (WLAF NEWS PUBLISHED-03/27/2025-9AM)
