Once full shelves are showing empty spaces after Monday’s big first day of sales.
Long lines were not uncommon on Monday at the CCHS Greenhouse.

“We’ve had a lot of good success. We’ve sold almost half of our assorted hanging baskets. We’re selling a lot of wave petunias; our begonias are about to take off. We still have some stuff that’s too small to sell right now, but we’re wafting on it,” said Morton.

Katheryn Angel is a repeat customer at the CCHS Greenhouse.

“I’m very pleased with my experience here at the Campbell County Greenhouse. A very courteous young man sold me my plants. Everybody was kind and courteous to us, and I’m glad to be here. I’m a repeat customer,” said Katheryn Angel.

“We’ve had a lot of success here, and the kids are having a great activity and that’s the name of this game anyway is learning customer service. And how to get out there and work for themselves so they can feed themselves,” said Morton.

Red Wave Petunias
“We’ve almost sold out of Blue Wave Petunias,” said Morton.
