Roger L. Parks, age 81 of Caryville went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 14, 2025. He worked for the Tennessee State Park Service where he retired after over 30 years of service. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and a member of Lake View Baptist Church where he was the choir director. Preceded in death by Parents: Othal and Minnie Walker Parks, Brother: Aubrey Parks

Daughter: Christy and Brian Carter
Sons: Michael and Tonja Duggins, Dennis and Rochelle Duggins
Grandchildren: Sara Beth and Bo, Hunter, Chase, Briley, Ellie
Brother: Glen and Barbara Parks
Sister: Janice Broyles
Several nephews and nieces and a host of other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 PM Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at Lake View Baptist Church with funeral service to follow visitation at 7 PM, Dennis Duggins Officiating. Family and friends will meet at Cross-Smith Funeral Home at 10:15 AM on Thursday and proceed to Campbell Memorial Gardens for 11 AM Graveside Service and Interment with Rev. Shane Pitman Officiating with Military Honors given by Honor Guard of Campbell County.
