Roberta J. Vinsant, age 86 of Jacksboro

Mrs. Roberta J. Vinsant, age 86 of Jacksboro, passed away on Saturday, July 4, 2026. She was formerly employed with Imperial Reading Corp. and was a member of the LaFollette Church of Christ. Mrs. Vinsant was also devoted to reading her Bible and attending Bible study. She was a member of the LA Cruizers Car Club and enjoyed gardening, quilting, and keeping an eye on the family cattle. She is preceded in death by her husband, L.D. Vinsant, son, Bruce Vinsant, parents, Curtis and Rosie (Walden) Bruce, sisters, Wanda Whaley, Vollena Brandenburg, and Loretta Wells, brothers, Bill Ed Bruce and Danny Bruce, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Myrtle and Emory Vinsant.

She is survived by her son, Lynn Vinsant and wife, Melinda; grandsons, Ben Vinsant and wife Abigail, and Branden Vinsant and wife, Lindsay; sister, Azalea Watson and husband, Ray; brother, Don Bruce and wife, Beverly; sister-in-law, Mary Ruth Bruce; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 8, 2026, from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Walters Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM with Preacher Ben Shafer officiating. Interment to follow at Cumberland View Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Mrs. Roberta J. Vinsant.
