Seventh annual event was quite the success

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- The weather turned out to be better than  predicted for the seventh annual Show It Off Festival as the rain held off for a warm, sunny day with a slight breeze. Seargeant’s Park is where lots of folks gathered on Saturday after the fest was pushed back to start at noon rather than the planned 10am.

Several groups and singers appeared on stage through out the day. The event had lots of venders and different groups providing information about their organization.

There was lots of free activity and give away items for festival goers.

“It was estimated that more than 2,000  attendees came through the event for the day, not bad considering there was a threat of heavy thunderstorms all day,”  said Sharon Chapman, Show It Off Fest founder and organizer.
