JACKSBORO, TN (WLAF)- The Campbell County Regional Planning Commission met briefly on Monday evening, approving several minor lot subdivisions and minor lot combinations.

First up approved was a minor lot subdivision for Thomas and Melissa Witt on Powell Valley Shores Circle (La Follette). Approval was recommended by County Planner Jordan Rockwell.

Also approved was a minor lot combination for Triple A Holdings LLC. on Suncrest Cove (La Follette) and a minor lot combination for Klinton Knapke, on Flat Hollow Marina Road (La Follette).

A minor lot subdivision was approved for Robert and Chesnie Tackett Property on Low Gap Road (La Follette).

Planning commission members also approved a minor lot subdivision for Josh and Brittany Smith on Glade Springs Road (La Follette) and a minor lot subdivision for Gary Dilbeck on Dilbeck Lane (Caryville).

According to Rockwell, all were simple plats and he recommended approval on all agenda items.

During the public comments section of the meeting a gentleman from Powell Valley Shores inquired about having several “unopened right of ways closed or abandoned” as he was worried about liability. 

Rockwell said he would look into it and talk to County Attorney Joe Coker and Planning Commission Attorney Reid Troutman.
