Patient airlifted following ATV wreck

PIONEER, TN (WLAF)- Multiple agencies responded to an ATV accident Wednesday evening.

“One person was injured when the ATV he was riding rolled over in the Royal Blue area,” said Caryville Volunteer Fire Department Chief Eddie Hatmaker. The accident scene was not too far from I-75 Exit 141.

As a result, the patient was airlifted by a medical helicopter and transported to a Knoxville hospital.
