Chances of light rain leave soon after lunch time Friday, good weather for Cougar Football tonight

LAFOLLETTE, TN (WLAF)- A weak cold front is moving through Campbell County and the region today with some mainly light showers, but there will be no significant cooling behind the front. Mainly rain-free and warm conditions return Saturday into early next week.

An area of showers will move across Campbell County and the region today, but rainfall amounts will generally be light. Friday finishes partly sunny with a high of 68 ahead of a low of 53 tonight under mostly cloudy skies.

A rain-free tonight is ahead for Cougar Football home with Oak Ridge. Temperatures will open at 61 degrees at kickoff with 50s, 56 by the end of the fourth quarter.

Near record warmth continues to be the main story for the long term. This includes both daily high temperatures and overnight high-minimum temperatures.
