Nannie B. Jones, age 82 of LaFollette went to be with her Lord and Savior on April 5, 2025, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family after battling COPD. She was born on September 5,1942, in Paint Lick, Kentucky to the late Albert and Ruby Powell. Nannie was a member of Rock Creek Church. Nannie loved the Lord, and her family. Nannie loved the outdoors, especially gardening and watching the birds, squirrels and rabbits in the yard.  She loved spending time with her family, working puzzles, quilting, and fishing, especially fishing tournaments.

In addition to her parents, Nannie is preceded in death by her brothers, Robert C., Albert W. and Ermon K.  Powell; her sisters, Betty Bond, Ruby Black, Evelyn Blevins, Oma Cook and Wanda Barnett; one grandson Roger Jones and one great granddaughter Autumn.

Nannie is survived by her husband of 65 years J.C. Jones; her sons Alan (Gale) Jones of Jacksonville, FL and Gary (Brenda) Jones of Kingston; her daughters Cheryl Jones Mizzell of LaFollette, Vicki Jones Jenkins of Farragut, and adopted granddaughter Brittany;  her brothers-in-law Harold Jones of LaFollette, John Bond of Cherry Hill, NJ, and Elvin Cook of Coca Beach, FL; special friend Heather Rash; eighteen grandchildren,  thirty-nine great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 PM on Wednesday April 9, 2025, with the funeral following at 2:00PM in the chapel of Martin Wilson Funeral Home. Funeral procession and burial will be held at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church following the service with Pastor Mike Smith, Pastor Wade Walls and Rev. Audie Murray officiating.
